UPCOMING PATCH NOTICE

After clicking the Rakion Icon on the Game Launcher

You will see several "WAITING" messages on the text prompt

PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THE LAUNCHER

This only means that the patch is being applied

CLOSING THE GAME LAUNCHER WILL REQUIRE YOU TO REINSTALL RAKION

Additional Patch Information:

Users might experience WARNING prompts during patching.

This has been proven with ESET NOD32 Antivirus.

The following files may be flagged as virus by other antivirus programs.

is-727A1.tmp
entitiesmp.dll

THESE ARE NOT VIRUSES

Please have your antivirus set to allow the above files to ensure correct patch downloading.

Otherwise, temporarily disable your antivirus during patching.

*is-727A1.tmp and entitiesmp.dll are files important for running the game*

For players experiencing problems downloading the patch and/or re-installing the game, please have your anti-virus programs set to allow the installation of the Rakion Game Client or the path of the directory where the game will be installed.

Go to "Setup" or "Advanced Setup" and look for an "Exclusions" setting

This setting may be different for other anti-virus programs but it is important for you to locate the "Exclusions" setting of your anti-virus.

Add the following files to the exclusions list:

entitiesmp.dll
is-727A1.tmp

Or add the file directory / location to the exclusions list:

C:\Program Files\Softnyx\Rakion

This should allow your system to have the Rakion Game Client installed.

I've seen this before in RIS but I forget what it is all about.

Will this be like those usual patches where hacks and cheats can still be activated? Or will this be like a total refresh?
